Born in France and raised in Dubai, Dr. Nicolas Terraz combines a global perspective with exceptional veterinary expertise. A graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London, he specializes in ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery, and the care of exotic animals. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Terraz dedicates much of his time to charity initiatives with BVC Adoptions and Feline Friends. Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, he strives to provide every animal with the best possible care.

Dr. Ahmad Jakish

Dr. Ahmad Jakish earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine in Washington State in 2008. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and received his certification in canine rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee in 2009. Before joining the BVC in 2011, he worked at the Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle. He specialises in orthopedic and spinal surgeries, as well as complex thoracic, oncology, and soft tissue surgeries.

Moving to the UAE in 2006, she joined The British Veterinary Centre’s Khalifa City branch in 2013, where she quickly became a valued team member. With a sharp eye for detail and a natural affinity for smaller animals, Dr. Shaw’s compassionate care leaves every patient in better health and thriving.

Since joining The British Veterinary Centre in Abu Dhabi in 2017, he has become a key figure, excelling in diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, and surgery. Known for his precision and passion for learning, Dr. Belal ensures every patient receives exceptional care.

Dr. José was born in Portugal and studied veterinary medicine at the University of Lisbon, completing additional training in Spain, Colombia, and England. He holds a master’s in veterinary science, with a dissertation in veterinary cardiology that earned him the 2013 SPCAV-Vetmedin award. Having worked in high-standard practices across Portugal and internationally, he continuously expands his expertise in internal medicine, with a strong focus on cardiology and diagnostic imaging. At BVC, he pioneered the first interventional cardiology center in the Middle East, offering minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, including mitral valve repair under cardiopulmonary bypass.

Dr. Rami Muzaber graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Syria in 2010 and has since accumulated over 15 years of experience as a dedicated small animal veterinarian. He further honed his skills and knowledge during his tenure at the British Veterinary Hospital in Marina, where he gained valuable expertise in advanced veterinary care. Dr. Muzaber is highly trained and has developed a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, cretical care,anesthisa and cardiology. His passion for these fields drives him to provide the highest standard of care for his patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and outcomes.

After five years of practicing veterinary medicine in Egypt, Dr. Fekry relocated to Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and in 2023, joined the esteemed British Vet Clinic in Abu Dhabi. He brings a wealth of experience in different aspects of veterinary medicine, providing top-tier care to his patients.
